  • Am I My Brother's Keeper? | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Am I My Brother's Keeper? Cain asked, "Am I my brother’s keeper?" (Gen. 4:9). Was Jesus Christ His brother’s keeper? Did Jesus take care of His brothers who were in need of clothes, food or shelter? Did He come to the aid of widows in distress? Was He a father to the orphan? Did He give to the poor (John 13:29)? Yes! Jesus was His brother’s keeper. We, too, are to be our brother’s keeper by imitating Jesus Christ in our daily behavior (1 Cor. 11:1; Eph. 5:1). We are to practice being kind to one another. We are to practice hospitality to one another (1 Peter 4:9). We are to practice godliness toward one another. We are to conform ourselves to godliness by practicing the deeds of Jesus Christ (1 Tim. 4:7). We are to overcome and put to death our old self by zealously living as Jesus did until He makes us new creatures, complete in Christ (Rev. 2:26; Col. 1:28). We allow Him to do this by striving, persevering and being zealous for doing good deeds in His name because we love Him (Luke 13:24; 21:19; Rev. 3:10; Col. 3:17; John 14:15; 1 John 5:3). We prove our love for God by serving Him with our whole heart, soul, mind and strength (John 15:8; Luke 10:27; Matt. 22:37). We prove our love for Him by being slaves to righteousness and doing the Will of God from the heart (Rom. 6:13, 18-19; Eph. 6:6). We prove it by the way we live. Yes, we are our brother’s keeper when we serve our neighbors first, before self (1 Cor. 10:24). One of the main messages in the new covenant of Jesus Christ is serving others (Matt. 20:26-28; 23:11; Mark 9:35; 10:43-45; Luke 9:48; Rom. 15:2-3). Dorcas was used as an example for those who would follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ (Acts 9:36). She was her brother’s keeper because she served others daily for Jesus Christ (Acts 9:39). Jesus Christ Himself said that only those who have good works will come to a resurrection of life, so don’t you think it is time we start to imitate Him and be our brother’s keeper (John 5:29)? We need to overcome evil by continually doing good, as Jesus said we should (Psalm 34:14; 37:27; Rom. 2:7; 12:21; 1 Peter 3:10-11; Rev. 2:26). Then, when we, like Jesus, live only to do good, we will be living as we should and we will be our brother’s keeper, for either we become our brother’s keeper or we remain of the evil one, like Cain (1 John 3:12). • Be Zealous in All You Do | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Be Zealous in All You Do The word of God admonishes us to be diligent in our work and know the state of our flocks, and to do whatever we do with our whole heart and total might (Prov. 18:9; 27:23; Col. 3:23). In short, we are to continually go about doing good (Acts 10:34-35, 38). A sporting competition cannot be won unless the players are wholehearted about the game. A song cannot become a hit unless the singer puts his whole heart into it. Great things can never be achieved unless the person wholeheartedly pursues his goal. Some call it singleness of mind. These same principles hold true for the godly life (1 Kings 8:61). Jesus was single-minded about serving God in His life (Matt. 4:10). He knew this was done by serving those in need of clothes or food and attending to the sick (Matt. 25:33-40). Jesus called fishermen and then told them to go fishing for human lives - to save lost souls by telling them how to live a godly life (Matt. 4:19; Mark 1:17). He told His disciples to teach people to live a life of overcoming. It is the same simple Way of life He came to show us. This Way of life is pure and full of satisfaction, blessings and extreme joy. Happiness comes from making others happy. Peace comes from sowing peace, and love comes to those who give it. That is why Jesus never lived to please Himself (Rom. 15:3). He lived to please others by taking care of their needs first and doing it all for the glory of the Father (Rom. 15:2). Those who observed Him thought He was a nice guy. They thought He was a "do-gooder," and He was. He was a "do-gooder" for God. God’s works are all righteous. When we practice righteousness for the glory of God, we are doing the works of the Father (Matt. 5:16). Practicing righteousness is God’s Will and that is all Jesus did (John 21:25). It is so simple that a child would have no problem with it. Followers of Jesus Christ are called little children in the Bible because they live only to please their Father. They do this by practicing righteousness and doing righteous deeds to those who are in need (Luke 18:17; 1 John 2:1; 3:7). Why delay another day? Why not start living God’s Way right now, so you can be blessed for the rest of your life? wholewheatonline.com Search Baking With Whole Wheat: A Woman to Woman Article As homemakers, we have choices when we cook and bake things for our families and others. We have a variety of sweeteners such as sugar, honey, maple syrup, and molasses. We have a variety of flours such as bleached or unbleached white flour, rye flour, or whole wheat flour. We can choose from fresh, frozen, or canned fruits and vegetables. Quality is our choice. Quality is our choice when it comes to the way we live spiritually, as well as physically. Jesus Christ tells us about the most high quality bread of all—the “bread of life.” In John 6:35 He says, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me (obeys, trusts and has faith in) shall never thirst.” This is an awesome spiritual bread that so completely satisfies all aspects of our lives. This bread Jesus Christ was speaking of is the Way of life we share with you in every Whole Wheat issue. Whole Wheat newsletter is the product of a vision a man had when he approached my husband. The man saw loaves of bread, whole wheat bread, stored up and waiting to be shared with the world. The man was awestruck at what he saw. Little did he realize that my husband had been writing researched Bible study articles for years, and he eagerly desired to share them with the world. These articles explain clearly that Jesus came to show us how to be wheat instead of tares. In the parable found in Matthew 13:24-30, the wheat and tares grew together until harvest. At harvest time, the tares were removed and burned. The wheat was bundled up to be saved and stored in the barn. God will spare us, too, if we are wheat (righteous, godly, good for something). By living His Ways, we become fully converted and become whole wheat who live to please God by serving others daily. In Luke 11:3, we are taught to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Our spiritual daily bread is allowing the Lord to teach us by studying His word daily—the bread of God which comes down from heaven and gives life to the world (John 6:33). The bread of life (Jesus Christ) gives life (a Way of life) to the world. This Way of life is full of blessings, instead of curses, because we put Jesus’ words into action. What is the big bonus for eating of this “bread of life,” or living to please God every day? John 6:51 says, “I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats of this bread, he shall live forever.” Do you want to live forever? Do you want to be blessed? Do you want to be happy? The key to eternal life, blessings, and happiness goes back to fulfilling the basics: ℹ️ Study God’s word daily! ℹ️ Pray for others and your own needs! ℹ️ Live to please God by serving others continually, especially the less fortunate! These are ingredients for a quality life, made of wholesome ingredients…so let’s get cooking! • Wine and Strong Drink | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Wine and Strong Drink What does the Bible say about wine and strong drink? The nation of Israel always used wine in its religious observances and Jesus kept the Jewish customs of His day (Lev. 23:13; Matt. 11:19). Wine was prescribed as a tonic for people to avoid sickness and for first aid purposes (1 Tim. 5:23; Luke 10:34). Jesus Christ’s first miracle was at the wedding feast when He made 180 gallons of wine from water (John 2:1-11). God allowed His nation of Israel to drink wine and strong drink if they chose to do so (Deut. 14:26) People will have their own vineyards during the thousand-year reign of Christ on this earth, as Noah did (Prov. 3:10; Amos 9:14; Rev. 20:6). Noah, by the way, was a completed man of God (Gen. 6:9). Noah and Lot got drunk on wine (Gen. 9:20-21; 19:33). But both were still considered righteous by God and in a saved condition because they did not practice drunkenness (Gen. 7:1; Ezek. 14:14). “Drink your wine with a cheerful heart,” God’s instruction book on living says in Ecclesiastes 9:7. Much attention is given to the Last Supper when Jesus Christ said He would no longer partake of the fruit of the vine until His return. The beverage used for the Lord’s Supper is often wrongly assumed to be grape juice. One need only look to see what Jesus Christ will be serving at the wedding supper of the Lamb to decide what the fruit of the vine is. It is refined, aged wine (Is. 25:6). A person shouldn’t be upset by this because God is not upset by the drinking of wine. But God is upset with man’s sin and with man saying that to drink wine is sin, when God says no such thing. God even prophesied in His word that false ministers would speak against the use of wine and liquor, and people would make them their ministers or spokesmen (Micah 2:11). How dare people speak against what God has allowed in His word. Saying it is wrong to drink alcoholic beverages is starting another commandment or precept of men; and when you do that, you begin to worship God in vain (Mark 7:7). The word of God stresses moderation in all things, but not abstinence in regard to wine and strong drink (1 Tim. 3:3, 8). God says, “Give strong drink to a man who is perishing and wine to him whose life is bitter” (Prov. 31:6; Psalm 104:15). The Bible also warns of over-imbibing, and of hanging around with heavy drinkers of wine or gluttonous eaters of meat (Prov. 23:20, 29-35). It tells you not to get intoxicated with wine (Prov. 20:1). If you were to think your own thoughts and live your own ungodly way of life, it would be wise not to drink at all. However, if you are living your life to please God every day by living His Way and practicing moderation in all things, wine or strong drink could be very beneficial. Wine and strong drink, like brandy, are healthy for the blood and can be an aid to those who are sick (1 Tim. 5:23). We do not want to fall into the trap of believing we are more righteous than Jesus Christ, as the Pharisees did when their self-righteous doctrine turned into leaven or sin (Matt. 15:8-9; 16:6, 12). Of course, you shouldn’t drink wine or do other things you are free to do in Christ, when it would offend someone. Yet, this is no reason to totally abstain either. Let all things be done in love, in balance and in moderation, which is pleasing to the Lord (1 Cor. 16:14; Eph. 5:10). If you have had trouble in the past and have become an alcoholic, or suffered in other ways from your misuse of this privilege, then maybe it would be wise not to drink alcoholic beverages any longer. You can live without it. PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED All About the Bible PDF MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME © 2025 Whole Wheat International

  • Understanding the Fear of the Lord | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Understanding the Fear of the Lord If all peoples of the world had a fear of the Lord, then all peoples of the world would be converted or reconciled to God. There would then be one faith, one baptism, and one Lord (Eph. 4:5). There would be no more war because there would be so much love, respect and concern for the welfare and needs of others (Phil. 2:3). What is the fear of the Lord? The Bible says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Prov. 9:10). A better word than fear would be reverence. How do we show reverence for God? The dictionary says we revere God when we show honor and profound respect for Him because of His position. How do we show honor or respect for the one who created us? God’s word says we glorify Him with good works. We let our lights - good works - shine before men in such a way that God is glorified (Matt. 5:16). How do we do that? We walk in God’s Ways by imitating Jesus Christ, His Son (1 Cor. 11:1). We keep His words and practice His sayings (Matt. 7:24; Luke 8:21; 11:28; John 8:51; 11:26; 12:47). Jesus is our example of how to walk in God’s Ways by doing good works. So are John the Baptist, James, John and Paul (Matt. 25:33-40; Luke 3:10-14; 6:33-34; James 2:14-18; Acts 26:20; Titus 3:8; 1 John 3:10, 18-19). Jesus Christ is making a peculiar people who are zealous for good works (Titus 2:14). We were created in Him to do good works (Eph. 2:10). We are to learn to be servants of the most if we hope to be called great in the kingdom (Matt. 20:26-28; 23:11; Phil. 2:3-5; Mark 9:35; 10:43-45). We are to imitate Jesus Christ and the Father (1 John 2:6; Eph. 5:1). We are to walk in the truth and keep the commandments by practicing righteousness daily to please God (2 John 4, 6; 1 John 3:7). It is not hard, but easy and pleasant (1 John 5:3; Matt. 11:30). Practicing righteousness is how we worship God in our bodies. It is our spiritual service of worship (Rom. 12:1). We are to worship God in spirit and in truth by practicing the truth (John 4:23-24; 3:21). We practice the truth when we present our bodies as instruments of righteousness and when we overcome evil by doing good for God daily (Rom. 6:13; 12:21). This is the one and only way to revere or fear the Lord our God. PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED All About the Bible PDF MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME © 2025 Whole Wheat International

wholewheatonline.com Search How to Be a Beautiful Person Have you ever known someone you considered to be a beautiful person? Do they fit the description God gives us of a beautiful person? A beautiful person is kind and helpful and is always serving others. There seems to be not one selfish bone in this person’s body. They are patient and speak kindly of those who do wrong to them. They are so peaceful inside. You can just feel it by their presence. They really respect their Father in heaven. They wouldn’t think, or wouldn’t allow themselves to think of things that are displeasing to God. In fact, they just live to please the Father every minute of every day. This is where they say peace is found. If they ever hear of a situation where they can be of help, they are normally there, unless they are so busy helping someone else that they just can’t get away. They are a balanced person. They love their spouse as much or more than their own flesh, and they both love and cherish their gifts from God, their children. This person does not think their own thoughts, but lives by every word of God. They are truly a person with a heart for God, who walks as God walks. They even talk as God does. They are the walking, talking, living example of a true born-again person. Their words, deeds and actions tell whose friend they are. They are a servant of God, a true man or woman of God. • Why Serve the Lord? | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Why Serve the Lord? Is the Almighty pleased if you are righteous? Is there any profit if you make your ways perfect? Psalm 37:27 says you will live forever. Zephaniah 2:3 says you may be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger. Revelation 3:10 says that God will keep you from the hour of testing if you pray always that you may be found worthy to escape all the things that are about to come upon humanity in these last days (Luke 21:36, King James Version). Remember, we will win our souls through perseverance in doing good (Luke 21:19; Titus 2:7, 14). We must strive to live like Jesus Christ, our example of good works, who is the narrow door (Luke 13:24; John 10:9). Only the sheep enter that door (John 10:3; Luke 12:32). These true disciples serve others for Jesus Christ, as He has commanded (Matt. 25:33-40; 1 Cor. 10:24). Jesus Christ says, "You are My friends if you keep My words and do the Will of God" (John 8:51; 12:47-48; 1 John 2:17; Matt. 7:21). You must be willing to do God's Will to be Jesus Christ's brother (John 7:17; Matt. 12:50). This means you must hear Christ's sayings and do them daily (Luke 8:21; James 1:22, 25). You must act on them, observe them and keep them (Matt. 7:24; Luke 11:28; 1 Peter 4:2; Rom. 12:2). Don't be foolish or remain ignorant, but understand the Will of the Lord and do it, think it and speak it (Eph. 5:17). Then your prayers will be answered (John 15:7, 16; 16:23-24). When you show respect for God and do those things that are pleasing in His sight, nothing shall be impossible to you, including the healing of sicknesses (John 9:31; 1 John 3:22; 5:14-15; Matt. 21:22; 17:20; Luke 1:37; James 5:15-17, 20). You will have an abundant life, filled with joy and every good thing (John 10:10; 17:13). What does it profit to serve the Lord? Serving the Lord will result in answered prayers, the abundant life and having sicknesses healed, plus you will receive the free gift of eternal life, which could never be earned. If you are not presently serving the Lord by serving others in words and deeds for God's glory, you may say you are rich and in need of nothing, but you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked (Col. 3:17; Rev. 3:17). Be saved from this perverse, wicked and sinful generation and turn, every one of you, from your wicked ways (Acts 2:40; 3:26). Then God can bless you. Turn to the Lord by doing good daily for God (1 Peter 3:11). PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED All About the Bible PDF MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME © 2025 Whole Wheat International

  • The Lake of Fire | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search The Lake of Fire The pagan concept of the lake of fire is that it is an ever-burning place of torment, where unrepentant sinners go to be tortured for eternity. Close examination in the word of God reveals that concept is foolishness. God is not giving eternal life to those who are going to hell, but rather, eternal life is only going to those who are found worthy of it (Luke 20:35). Jesus says that the soul, as well as the body, can be destroyed by God in the lake of fire (Matt. 10:28). The lake of fire, then, is the second death (Rev. 20:14; 21:8). Isaiah 30:33 mentions a place called Topheth where the Lord sets a fire. This place Topheth is now a public park in the Jerusalem area. It is the place where the ancient Israelites sacrificed their children to the god Baal, which is just another name for Satan (Jer. 19:4-5). In Jesus Christ’s day, it was called Gehenna and it was the city dump. Those who died a dishonorable death were thrown into this dump area, where there were fires burning continually. People threw their garbage in there daily. The corpses were left to rot or be eaten by wild dogs. Isaiah 31:9 prophesied that this lake of fire, which is referred to also as a furnace, will be in Zion. Zion is another name for Jerusalem. Jesus Christ will start this lake of fire when He returns shortly to set up His government and rule the nations of this earth with a rod of iron (Rev. 19:15). His kingdom will have no end (Luke 1:32-33; Is. 9:6-7; 1 Cor. 15:25). We who overcome our evil natures by keeping Jesus Christ’s works, and endure to the end keeping them, will rule with Him (Rev. 2:26-27). The reward of the saved is to rule on this earth, not in heaven (Rev. 5:10; 1:6). Who goes into this lake of fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels (Matt. 25:41)? The Bible is clear that the first two customers will be the beast and the false prophet (Rev. 13:14-17; 19:20). They love statues, which God abhors. God is going to destroy those who fall away after He has put them in charge over people He is calling (Matt. 24:48-51). The goats—those who knew that God’s true message of serving others and would not repent by doing so—will also be destroyed in the lake of fire. Anyone who goes on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth will be thrown into the lake of fire (Heb. 10:26-27). This is referring to anyone who has once been enlightened, known the truth, was baptized and received God’s Holy Spirit (Heb. 6:4-8). This is anyone who has known the Way of righteousness and has started to overcome, and then went back to his old way of life and was overcome by sin or evil again (2 Peter 2:20-22). These will all be written down in a book (Jer. 17:13). Because they did not overcome evil, but were overcome by evil, they will have their names erased from the book of life (Rev. 3:5; 1 Peter 3:10-11,13; Rom. 12:21; Ex. 32:32-33). They will go into the lake of fire. Those, however, who had good works and endured to the end will come into life everlasting (John 5:29). It should be clear that practicing good works daily is important in the true gospel message of Jesus Christ. This is how we repent (Luke 13:3, 5; Acts 3:26). It is how we glorify God and let our lights shine before others (Matt. 5:16). We are blessed when we repent by doing good works, and thus, return to God (Matt. 16:27; Rom. 2:6, 10; Rev. 22:12; Acts 3:19; 26:20). We build godly character or fruit on our spiritual trees by practicing good works (Col. 1:10; Matt. 3:8, 10). This is how we imitate God and allow God to live in us (Eph. 5:1; Gal. 4:19). It is how we keep Jesus’ words and God’s commandments in spirit (John 4:24; Gal. 5:16). When we practice righteousness, we overcome our evil nature and have Jesus Christ’s nature formed in us (Psalm 34:14; 37:27; Dan. 4:27; 1 Peter 3:10-11; Rom. 12:21; Rev. 2:26). As we learn righteousness, our faith is perfected (James 2:22; Titus 3:14). We become constant doers of God’s word (James 1:22). We become kind and charitable people and righteousness (God’s Will) eventually comes from our hearts (Eph. 6:6). We clothe ourselves with Jesus Christ (Job 29:14; Psalm 132:9). This is the narrow Way, and it is not generally known or taught today (Matt. 7:14). • Are You Passing Your Test? | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Are You Passing Your Test? Everyone who is called of God at the end of this age will be salted with fire (Matt. 3:11; 1 Cor. 3:13; 1 Peter 1:7; Mark 9:49). What might some of these tests include? Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household” (Matt. 10:34-36). This example would also include a husband against his wife. What is this test about? The Lord said those He would send with His message would be hated and misunderstood by the world (John 15:18-20; 1 John 3:13) because they preach the truth from God’s word. This test is about your loyalty to God and His servants who brings you God’s truth. Jesus said that He will receive the ones who accept or receive the person He sends with His true message (Matt. 10:40-42). You don’t have to receive that person as a prophet. You can just receive him as a righteous man (John 13:20). Notice that God continued to send other apostles, other prophets and other teachers as time went on (1 Cor. 12:28). Jesus said that He puts in charge those who should teach His household, and if they remain faithful until He comes, Jesus will put them in charge of all His possessions (Matt. 24:45-47). You are to obey these true men of God because they must give account of you before God (Heb. 13:17). How would you know for sure whether these men were from God? The blind would receive their sight. The deaf would hear. The lame would be healed. The dead would be brought back to life, the poor and lowly or teachable people, would have the true gospel preached to them (Luke 7:22). How would anyone know the real truth in this religiously deceived world unless someone were sent from God anyway (Rom. 10:15)? And how will you understand unless someone preaches to you that one truth (Rom. 10:14-16)? Yes, God is still sending apostles, prophets and preachers. That is His business, not the business of seminaries. Jesus Christ is still training and revealing His one truth to men whom He chooses, such as the Apostle Paul who Jesus taught personally through revelation (Gal. 1:11-12; Ex. 4:12; Psalm 32:8). There is only one truth that comes from one God, that is found in one book, the Bible. It is the only book that requires your repentance in order to believe (Mark 1:15). By only this book, will the world and all who live in it be judged (John 12:47-50). Just like Jesus was, those whom He sends will be spoken evil of (John 7:12). The person God sends would not be a lover of money as the false ministers are today (Luke 16:14; Titus 1:11). In regard to those who followed Jesus by being loyal to those He sent, He said that some would leave their homes, brothers, fathers, mothers, sisters, children and farms for His sake. This would also include husbands and wives (1 Cor. 7:12-16). He said if they passed that test they would receive a hundred times as much in this lifetime, and in the world to come they would receive eternal life (Mark 10:30). He also said, however, that they would continue to be persecuted. God is going to test our loyalty to Him with the members of our own household. Another test that many will receive concerns wealth. When a person keeps God’s Ways and does His Will daily on this earth (lives to be pleasing to his Maker daily), God gives that person the power to make wealth (Deut. 8:17-18; Prov. 10:22). God makes the poor and the rich (1 Sam. 2:7). However, many are the problems of the rich. Some become wise in their own eyes (Prov. 28:11). God warns the rich not to boast of their riches (Jer. 9:23-25). Riches make it harder for a man to enter the kingdom of God (Matt. 19:23-24; Mark 10:25; Luke 18:25). Why? The rich spend so much time with worldly things and worldly pursuits that they become lukewarm towards pleasing God, daily studying His word and serving others for Christ. Pleasing God is no longer first in their lives. They stop producing fruit on their trees, which means they stop building godly character (Matt. 13:22). It is the rich who become lukewarm for good deeds in Revelation 3:15-19. God is going to remove the lampstand of those who lose their first love for the truth because they are no longer loyal, and because they are not doing the good that they do with the same zeal and love they had at first (Rev. 2:5). God wants the rich to be rich in good works, and generous and ready to share (1 Tim. 6:17-18). Another test of loyalty would be that the Lord’s disciples are to be of one mind—one accord. They are commanded to love one another, serve one another, and cause no dissensions among each other. They are to be loving, giving, forgiving, and full of long-suffering (able to endure suffering). They are to practice all the fruits of God’s Spirit toward one another daily (Gal. 5:22-23). They are to practice being without spot or wrinkle towards each other (John 15:12-19; 1 John 3:10-11, 14; 4:7-8, 11-12, 20-21). If they have a spiritual problem, they are to discuss it with the one who told them the truth and thus be loyal to him and God. If you have God’s minister sent to you with the truth, you are to obey Him, says God’s word (Heb. 13:17). Most of all, they are to prove this message is the truth, and then be loyal to the one God has sent in their lives to preach this truth to them. Many are now being tested with the tests that have just been described. Many will fail. A few, however, will pass the test that God is testing them with. Will you pass your test? This article was written for you, in the hope that you do. PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED All About the Bible PDF MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME © 2025 Whole Wheat International

  • "Jesus blood covers our sins unconditionally." | WHOLE WHEAT

"Jesus blood covers our sins unconditionally." MISCONCEPTION: Jesus blood covers our sins unconditionally. THE TRUTH: The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all of our sins - past, present and future, but are there any conditions that must be met before the blood applies? Yes, 1 Peter 1:2 says we must obey Jesus Christ first and be sprinkled by the blood. In 1 Peter 2:24 it says, "Jesus Christ bore our sins in His body, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness." How do you live to righteousness? Simply practice righteousness (1 John 2:29; 3:7, 10). How do you practice righteousness? Engage in good deeds (Titus 3:8; Gal. 6:9; 2 Thess. 3:13). To what degree should you do them? Zealously (1 Peter 3:13; Matt. 5:20)! Why zealously? Because zealously overcoming evil with good, along with daily study of God’s word and prayer, is putting on the full armor of God (Rom. 12:21; Eph. 6:11). Most people who profess Jesus Christ as their Savior are totally unaware of this. • Happiness Is... | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Happiness Is... Just as there is only one truth, there also is only one happiness. True happiness comes from a warm relationship with God. Abraham, Noah, Daniel and a host of other people have had this true happiness in the past. What is true happiness? Happiness is: * Finding the true purpose for your existence (Eph. 2:10). * Knowing God's Will and then performing it daily in your life (Matt. 6:10; 7:21; Luke 8:21; 1 John 2:17; 1 Peter 2:15; 4:2, 6; Col. 1:10). * Having the attitude of a servant toward others at all times as Jesus Christ, our Savior and example, did (Rom. 15:2-3; 1 Cor. 10:24; Matt. 20:26-28; 23:11). * Having the knowledge of the truth - God's word - and being set free from all religious deception, with its satanic tentacles that grip the earth (John 8:31-32; Rev. 12:9). * Being set free from all pagan religious traditions of men that make the worship of Jesus Christ in vain (Mark 7:7). * Receiving answered prayer because you are constantly doing God's Will and are pleasing in His sight (1 John 3:22; John 9:31). * Hating what is evil and loving what is good (Psalm 45:7; 97:10). * Hating worldliness and the things that war against the Spirit, such as dirty movies and magazines, swearing, lying, stealing, lusting, drunkenness, etc., for these things are not pleasing to God (Rom. 8:13; Gal. 5:18-20). * Always being patient toward others (1 Thess. 5:14; 2 Tim. 2:24; James 5:8; 1 Cor. 13:4). * Always forgiving others and not holding any bitterness toward them (Matt. 6:14-15; Eph. 4:31). * Always living to please God within your marriage and having happy and obedient children (1 Cor. 7:2-5; Prov. 22:6). * Always having peace and not letting those who have no peace take yours (Rom. 14:19; Psalm 34:14). * Always having faith in Christ Jesus that He will supply all your needs after you have done God's Will, and knowing that all will go right for the righteous (Is. 3:10, Matt. 6:25-33). * Going to God and His word for the truth, instead of to books written by men, which are a great source of religious confusion (Eccl. 12:12). * Keeping life simple by keeping it pure (1 Thess. 4:11; Phil. 4:8; Matt. 5:8). * Having the trusting attitude of a child toward the Lord at all times (Matt. 18:3, Psalm 131:1-2). * Learning who Jesus Christ really is by studying God's word, instead of believing what man says He is (2 Tim. 2:15). * Studying God's word for the answers to all of life's problems and questions (2 Tim. 3:16-17). * Wearing out your Bible for God by reading it every day and highlighting the Scriptures (Acts 17:11). In conclusion, true happiness is knowing God's Ways and putting them into action in your daily life. This is the only way to be a friend of God. Remember always, Jesus Christ is God and we must keep only His words in order to be truly happy and never see death (John 8:51). • How to Make a Convert for Christ | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search How to Make a Convert for Christ In order to make a convert for Christ, one must follow the directions of Jesus Christ and His word. Would you agree? Does Jesus tell us to go door to door and ask people if they know where they are going when they die, and then proceed to tell them that they are going to hell if they don’t repent? Jesus’ instructions to us, from His word, are quite the opposite to what most people might think. Jesus says that before we can convert someone to Christ, we must first be converted to Christ ourselves. We must be fully trained as disciples or pupils of Christ; then we will be like our teacher (Luke 6:40). In order to be taught by our teacher, we must walk as He walks or live like He lives (1 John 2:6). We must first clean up our own lives to be impeccable examples of Christ for others and thus, show them the Way. If we try to bring others to Christ without first becoming converted, Christ calls us hypocrites (Luke 6:41-42). Jesus shouts from His word to those who call themselves Christians today, “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ (using my name all the time) and do not do what I say?” Jesus wants us to act on His word, not just talk about it (Luke 6:46-47). We are to show our love to others by our deeds, not words (1 John 3:18-19). We are to convert our loved ones without a word. Without a word! How? By your behavior (1 Peter 3:1). How is this done? Study to show yourself approved to God. Unless you study, God will consider you unapproved (2 Tim. 2:15—KJV). Then, in all things, show yourself to be an example of good works (Titus 2:7). Put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another (Col. 3:12-13). God wants you to learn to love the unlovable, like He loved you before you began living for Him daily. Love your spouse. Serve your spouse. Spend time with your spouse and enjoy life with your loved one, all the days of your fleeting life which God has given you under the sun (Eccl. 9:9, Eph. 5:22-33). Do not allow yourself to hold hard feelings against them and if you are angry with them, do not allow the sun to go down before you resolve your anger (Col. 3:18-19; Eph. 4:26-27). Do not argue at all, because this is breaking God’s command about repaying evil for evil or insult with insult. Be considerate and treat your spouse as a human and not as a child. Remember, you cannot change them. That’s God’s business and you are not minding your own business if you try. Pray to God and ask God to work with your spouse. Do not try to “lord it over them” or oppress them in any way. They have one Lord over them, and you might be getting in His Way. Remember, you cannot change them and for that matter, you can’t change yourself. Only God can change a person and He never made a nature He couldn’t change or crush (Rom. 16:20). Crushing our evil nature requires your cooperation though. You must live a repentant life by serving others daily for God (1 Cor. 3:7). This is what allows God to create a new nature in you so that you become a new creature or creation and have Christ’s nature formed in you (Gal. 4:19; 6:15). That is when you are made complete (2 Cor. 13:9, 11). Finally then, pray to God that perhaps God may grant those you care about repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth so they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil (2 Tim. 2:25-26). These are God’s directions and they work! Try following them! PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED All About the Bible PDF MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME © 2025 Whole Wheat International

  • Who Are The Sinners? | WHOLE WHEAT

wholewheatonline.com Search Who Are The Sinners? Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34). Even Stephen forgave those who sinned against him (Acts 7:60). Who are these sinners? Jesus Christ said to the Pharisees, "If you were blind, you would have no sin" (John 9:41). In what way were they blind? They were blind to the true message of salvation through repentance (Matt. 21:32; 2 Peter 2:21). A great many of the priests of the Jewish church were becoming obedient to the faith of that message (Acts 6:7). What faith? They were becoming obedient to Jesus Christ’s faith, the true faith once delivered to the prophets, to Moses and to Abraham (Jude 3). God’s servants, the prophets, preached this message. It is not generally known that there is only one true gospel, one truth, one Way, and Jesus came to reveal that Way by revealing what the Ways of the Father are and what His Will is (Eph. 4:4-6). The Pharisees were not doing the Will of the Father. They were doing good works to glorify themselves, and not the Father (Matt. 5:16, 20; 6:1). They were not being converted and having their natures crushed by God (Rom. 16:20). They were not overcoming evil by doing good works for God (Rom. 12:21; 1 Peter 3:11; Rev. 2:26). They were not fighting the good fight of faith. They were not finishing the course or having a new nature (God’s nature) formed in them (Gal. 4:19). Jesus Christ’s true gospel reveals to us how to get rid of our old nature and have Christ’s nature formed in us. Jesus said His Way is easy and pleasant (Matt. 11:30). If He had not come and spoken that true message, people would have had no sin. But after they heard how to overcome, they no longer had any excuse for their sin (John 15:22). Many of the Pharisees knew Jesus Christ came from God as a teacher (John 3:2). Thousands of the Jews believed the message and became zealous, while others became jealous (John 11:45, 48, 50; Acts 17:5; 21:20). The Bible shows that the sinners are those who hear the true message of how to repent by overcoming evil through doing good and do not act upon it (Titus 1:16). God’s word refers to these sinners as goats, tares, bad fruit, bad fish, barren trees, wicked stumbling blocks and tasteless salt (Mal. 3:18; Matt. 3:10; 5:13; 12:33; 13:30, 38, 41-42, 48). Yes, anyone who knows and understands the true message and refuses to live it is a sinner (John 9:41; Matt. 7:24; Luke 6:46-47; James 4:17).
