Estudios de la biblia en español. Bible studies in Spanish to learn about living for God. ¡No estaríamos aquí! ¡Vamos a descubrirlo! (2 Tim. 2:26; Mat. 6:10). ¡No seas engañado religiosamente! No cobres interés a tu prójimo (Sal. 15:5; Ex. 22:25). 10. No uses malas palabras, vulgaridades o digas groserías. (Mat. 25:35). 23. Glorifica a Dios con buenas obras (Mat.5:16). 24. Has tus oraciones en secreto.

- "Once saved, always saved." | WHOLE WHEAT
"Once saved, always saved." MISCONCEPTION: Once saved always saved. THE TRUTH IS: The teaching - you cannot lose your salvation once you receive it - clashes with the Scriptures: “Work out your salvation with fear and trembling,” and “Let him who thinks he stands, beware lest he fall” (Phil. 2:12; 1 Cor. 10:12). This false teaching comes from corrupting what is being said in 1 Corinthians 3:11-15. Yet, verse 17 states, “If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him” (Matt. 10:28). Jesus also mentions that overcoming is necessary to not have your name erased from the book of life and also to not be hurt by the second death (Rev. 3:5; 2:11). In order to be saved, God's word says you must overcome by keeping Jesus’ works until the end (Rev. 2:26; Matt. 10:22; 24:13; Mark 13:13; 2 Tim. 2:12). Some will be thrown into prison to be tested by God. They are told if they are faithful unto death, they will be given a crown of life, which is eternal life (Rev. 2:10). Others are warned by God to repent and do the deeds (good deeds) they did before, if they expect to be saved (Rev. 2:5). Even Paul did not believe he was qualified for the resurrection of the dead (Phil. 3:11- 12). A person can come short of being saved, and that is why we should fear (Heb. 4:1). Only the one who endures to the end keeping Jesus Christ’s words, works and deeds, and does God’s Will on this earth daily, will be saved (Matt. 10:22; 24:13; 2 Tim. 2:12; Mark 13:13). wholewheatonline.com Search Are You an Obedient Disciple of Jesus Christ? Disciple comes from the word "discipline," and to be a true follower of Jesus Christ, one must be a self-disciplinarian. The following list of questions will help you identify where you are at in your walk with God and how you are doing in your conversion process. If you have a good attitude, and you desire to strive to do what is right, this questionnaire will be of great value to you. If you have any other attitude, that too will be revealed. Use the key below for answering the following questions and circle the appropriate answer following the question. Let's begin. Key: Y = Yes N = No S = Sometimes 1. Do you study to show yourself approved (2 Tim. 2:15)? Y N S 2. Do you honor the Lord with the first of all you earn and set that amount aside and do good with it (Prov. 3:9)? Y N S 3. - Renewing Your Mind in Christ | WHOLE WHEAT
Renewing Your Mind in Christ Jesus did not come to the earth to do His own Will, but to do the Will of the Father daily as it is done in heaven. Jesus did good works to glorify God in the Father’s name. We, today, are to do good works in thought, word and deed, in the name of Jesus, giving thanks through Him to the Father. We need to be filled with the knowledge of God’s Will and have our minds renewed. We cannot remain fools if we want to do God’s Will from the heart. We must diligently serve the Lord by happily practicing righteousness at all times so we can be blessed by Him and changed by Him. Then by grace, God will forgive all your sins, past, present and future. He will then give you the free gift of eternal life because you repented and brought forth good works to prove it. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. John 6:38 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16 Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Colossians 3:17 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 Not by way of eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. Ephesians 6:6 Not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Romans 12:11 But kept declaring both to those of Damascus first, and also at Jerusalem and then throughout all the region of Judea, and even to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, performing deeds appropriate to repentance. - Does God Use Evil Spirits? | WHOLE WHEAT
wholewheatonline.com Search Does God Use Evil Spirits? Does God sometimes use Satan to do His Will? Yes, says the word of God in Job 1:12 and 2:6. God in heaven uses evil spirits or deceiving spirits to do His Will also (2 Chron. 18:20-22). The Lord can mix a spirit of distortion in people (Is. 19:14). The misled and the one who misleads belong to Him (Job 12:16). He makes fools of judges (Job 12:17). He takes away judgment or discernment from the leaders of a land (Job 12:20). God makes great nations, then destroys them when they sin (Job 12:23). He actually takes intelligence away from people (Job 12:24). I make peace and I create evil. I do all these things, says the Lord (Isaiah 45:7). In Judges 9:23, God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem. An evil spirit from the Lord terrorized Saul (1 Sam 16:14-15, 23; 18:10). First Kings 22:21-23 reveals a spirit was talking to the Lord about deceiving someone. God has meetings from time to time with the sons of God, which in this case are angels (Job 1:6; 2:1). Many excuse these examples because they are in the Old Testament. But God used Satan and evil spirits in the New Testament also. Turn to Acts 12:23. Here an angel of the Lord struck King Herod and the king was eaten by worms. Satan demanded permission from God to sift the apostle Peter like wheat, just like he did Job in the Old Testament (Luke 22:31). Evil spirits were pounding on people in Acts 19:16. The apostle Paul was continually being thwarted by Satan (1 Thess. 2:18). Some Christians were being turned over to Satan for the destruction of their flesh (1 Cor. 5:5). Today the devil is still scheming to get at disciples of Jesus Christ (Eph. 6:11). Satan will cast some into prison in the last days, and God says if they will be faithful for ten days, they will receive eternal life after they die (Rev. 2:10). Many end-time believers will be killed by Satan (Rev. 6:11; 9:15; 20:4). Yes, God is using Satan and evil spirits in His overall plan of salvation until Christ returns. Then Satan will be put in chains for 1,000 years until he is needed again for a short time (Rev. 20:7-8)! Now you can believe God uses evil spirits because you read it with your own eyes, in your own Bible. - The Purpose of Life - to find God | WHOLE WHEAT
wholewheatonline.com Search The Purpose of Life - to find God Many people are searching for the purpose of life. They are looking for the reason they were born, as well as trying to decide where they are going when they die. Many people are racing to and fro saying they must “find themselves.” Think about that for a moment. What are they really saying? They’re mixed up. They don’t know what they want. They say one thing and do another. They don’t feel good about themselves. They feel sorry for themselves. They’re selfish and want things only for themselves, even at the cost of hurting others. They want wealth, and if they get it, they still want more (Prov. 28:20, 22; 23:4; Haggai 1:6). Wake up, everyone! Isn’t it time to wake up? The purpose of life is to find God. God says that if you will seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might, you will find Him (Deut. 4:29). But if you don’t, you won’t. You seek God by beginning to live your life to please Him each day instead of ignoring Him each day (Acts 10:35). If you do ignore Him daily, He will ignore you daily, but if you live to please Him daily, He lives to please you daily. Sure sounds right, doesn’t it? That’s because it is right (1 John 3:22)! Please look up Romans 3:10-12, Psalm 14:1-3 and 53:1-3. Then, underline these phrases: “There is none righteous,” “There is none who understands,” and “There is none who seeks for God.” Next, underline: “There is none who does good [for God], not even one.” Why do you suppose Jesus Christ said we are to glorify the Father daily by doing good works, thus letting our lights shine (Matt. 5:16; 25:33-40)? He said this because that’s how you seek God, find Him and obey Him. It’s how you keep Jesus Christ’s words (John 8:51). But you cannot get weary and give up (Gal. 6:9; 2 Thess. 3:13). Rejoice! You have found the purpose of life…but only if you do it, and put Jesus Christ’s words into daily action in your life! - The Truth About Heaven and Hell | WHOLE WHEAT
wholewheatonline.com Search The Truth About Heaven and Hell We have been taught from the time we were little children that the good people go to heaven and the wicked people go to hell. Those who go to heaven when they die are rejoined with loved ones. This teaching means we will never die. We have been told that hell is terrible, a place of eternal torment. There is fire there and people in hell burn forever and never die. The devil and his angels are there to torment those in hell day and night forever and ever. Hence, they never really die, but continue to live on and on and on. Some have claimed there is a spiritual prison in which all the dead are held under bondage until judgment. This, too, is a doctrine teaching that we will never die. It is a spiritual lie that cannot be proven true by the holy word of God. What does the God of the Bible say? Does the spirit live on after death? The word of God says, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezek. 18:20). Yes, the soul can die. We are also instructed not to fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul. Instead, we are told to fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell (Matt. 10:28). So now we can see that souls can be killed by God. The Bible calls this the second death (Rev. 20:14; 21:8). People are subtly persuaded to believe they don’t really die. They are told they return to their angelic state when they die. Many who have fallen for this lie remain ignorant of God’s word. What does God’s true word say about what happens when you die? Your death is a sleep. All will be resurrected in the end. Did you hear? In the end! You do not go to heaven when you die. You sleep! Your spirit returns to God who gave it, but so does the sparrow’s spirit (Eccl. 12:7). God takes His Spirit away and you return to the dust. He sends forth His Spirit and you come alive again (Psalm 104:29-30; Ezek. 37:4-14). You cannot praise God in the grave because you cannot speak. God, who is true, says, in the very day you die, your thoughts perish (Eccl. 9:5, 10). The death of people is the same as animals ( Eccl. 3:19-20). So a man lies down and dies and does not rise until the heavens be no more (Job 14:12). The dead do not rise until when? Until the heavens be no more. That’s at the end of the age, at the return of Jesus Christ. The dead people will not rise nor be aroused out of their sleep. Job said he was going to wait in the grave until God called him and gave him a new body at the time of the resurrection (Job 14:14-15). When a man’s spirit departs, the word of God says, he returns to the earth, and in that very day, his thoughts perish. Do you believe God’s word (Psalm 146:4; 112:10)? The dead do not praise the Lord, nor do any who go down to silence (Psalm 115:17). At one point in time the dead are symbolically given white robes and told to rest for a little while longer (Rev. 6:9-10). This indicates they are resting now. These words are not cleverly devised tales (2 Peter 1:16). Jesus says that an hour is coming when all who are in the graves—not in heaven—shall hear His voice, and those who did the good works shall come forth to a resurrection of life (John 5:28-29; Rom. 2:7). Even King David, a man after God’s own heart, did not ascend to heaven (Acts 2:34). He is still in the grave, just as Jesus Christ said (Acts 2:29). No man has ascended to heaven. Now, Jesus wouldn’t lie, would He (John 3:13)? Only those who persevere in doing good will receive immortality or eternal life (Rom. 2:7). The Truth About Hell When Jesus Christ returns, He will create a lake of fire, which will be located in Jerusalem (Is. 31:9). The location could very well be in the valley of Gehenna, which is now a public park. The word Gehenna means hell. The first customer of the lake of fire will be the beast who has masqueraded as the returned Christ and given himself all the titles of Christ. This is the one whom the whole world will worship before Jesus Christ returns to the earth (Rev. 13:8). The second customer will be a man who made a statue in the likeness of this false christ and required everyone in the world to fall down and worship that statue or be put to death (Rev. 13:11-17). This religious deception is caused by God. All those who refuse the message of God’s simple truth so as to be saved will believe the false christ (2 Thess. 2:10-12; Rev. 17:17). Then, anyone who is not found in the book of eternal life will be cast into that same fire started by Jesus Christ at His return (Rev. 20:12-15). All whose deeds were righteous before God will be spared (Matt. 18:35; 15:8). But all whose deeds remained wicked and unrepentant will be destroyed, including those who do not practice righteousness for God or love their brother (1 John 3:10). They will be burned at the end of the age in the lake of fire and as they are burned, they will weep and gnash their teeth (Matt. 13:40-42). They will be totally destroyed forever—destroyed never to return again (Rev. 21:8; 2 Peter 3:7). They will be set ablaze and turned to ashes (Mal. 4:1-3). Remember, the word death means cessation of life or end. Eternal punishment is the end of spiritual life—the second death (Matt. 25:46). Satan will also be thrown into the lake of fire at a later time. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever” (Rev. 20:10—Notice, in many translations of the Bible, the word “are” is substituted for the original word “were”—past tense). The expression day and night forever is an extravagant way of saying for good, or forever. When trying to understand hell, many people are confused about the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. This was a parable—a riddle, an example—not an actuality. The rich man was being slowly burned with fire and was very thirsty. Lazarus was immortal. Now, since the rich man was mortal, there was a bridge between them. Lazarus was spiritual and the rich man was flesh. That bridge could not be crossed over by Lazarus (Luke 16:24). This parable emphasizes the importance of living for God now, while we have the opportunity. There is no second chance. The Truth About Heaven People believe their loved ones have gone to heaven already. What about Moses and Elijah in Matthew 17:4? That was a vision (Matt. 17:9). What about Paul? He didn’t know how he ascended, so how could you (2 Cor. 12:2)? He said only God knew what happened. It could have been a vision. What about Enoch? God took His Spirit out of Enoch’s body. Then God put Enoch’s spirit to sleep until the resurrection (Heb. 11:5). Remember, Jesus Christ was the first born of many brethren (Rom. 8:29; 1 Cor. 15:23). It is appointed once for all men to die, then comes the judgment (Heb. 9:27). Enoch is waiting to be born again (Heb. 11:39-40). God hid Enoch’s body, just as He hid Moses’ body, so men couldn’t build a building over it and use it to their advantage to further their own religions. The devil wanted Moses’ body to further his religious deception on this earth, and he argued with Michael for it (Jude 9). But God hid it from sight on Mount Nebo about 80 miles west of Jerusalem. What about Elijah? Approximately 12 years after Elijah was taken up in a chariot, he sent a letter to King Jehoram of Israel (2 Chron. 21:12-15). Remember, there are no thoughts in the grave, so if he died he could not have written the letter (Psalm 6:5). Elijah was still alive, but living elsewhere on this earth. He went into retirement. When Jesus was crucified, He died. If he didn’t die, then He lied. And if He died according to the Scripture, which cannot be broken, he had no thoughts in the grave. He went to sleep for three days and three nights. Jesus did not preach to the dead spirits of mortal men in prison. He had no thoughts in the grave. First Peter 3:18-19 says nothing about Jesus Christ preaching to somebody while He was in the grave. He had plenty of time to do that after He was resurrected and had a spiritual body. Incidentally, the “spirits now in prison” were the fallen angels of Jude 6, not dead humans. People in the churches have been lied to and most refuse to study their Bibles and ask God to show them His truth. They are afraid they might have to give up some cherished belief. They would rather put their trust in some man, even though the word of God continually warns them not to do that (Psalm 146:3; Is. 2:22). The Bible is not a private interpretation, but men from all ages have been moved by the Holy Spirit to write the words of God (2 Peter 1:20-21). God places a special curse on anyone who tampers with His words (Rev. 22:19). True disciples of Jesus Christ are warned not to be uninformed about those who are asleep (1 Thess. 4:13-17; 5:10). God does not want us to grieve, thinking we have no hope. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the trumpet of God. And those who died in Jesus Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Have you heard something different? Behold, I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye (1 Cor. 15:51). When? At the last trumpet. When does the Bible say the last trumpet is (Rev. 11:15)? The trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will be raised imperishable and we will be changed (1 Cor. 15:52). Many who profess to be followers of Christ are far removed from God’s true form of spiritual worship (John 4:24; Rom. 12:1; James 1:27; Psalm 37:27). The spiritual leaders of this world are leading people astray (Is. 3:12). Preachers are preaching on their own authority. God says He did not send them (Jer. 23:1, 11, 13-22). People love their false ministers, but what will they do in the end (2 Tim. 4:3-4; Jer 5:31)? We are admonished to prove all things by God’s word and to believe in only those things that can withstand the sure test of those Scriptures (2 Tim. 2:15). By knowing these truths, at least you have a choice about whether to stay deceived or not. Read your Bible and come out of religious deception once and for all! Seek the truth and it will set you free from being religiously misled (John 8:32). The Lord is with you when you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him. But if you forsake Him, He will forsake you forever (1 Chron. 28:9). PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED All About the Bible PDF MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME © 2025 Whole Wheat International

What is this mysterious inner strength and where does it come from? Most importantly, how do we obtain it? We must look into God’s word to find out how to have inner strength. Philippians 3:3 says, "For we are of the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh." What is being said here? The Apostle Paul is saying that when we serve God and worship Him by being servants of others on His behalf, we are of the true faith of Jesus Christ (Rom. 12:1-21; 6:13; 8:12-13; Gal. 5:16; Matt. 23:11). We give Jesus Christ the credit and the glory and put no confidence in the flesh (Col. 3:17; Phil. 3:3). In other words, we do not trust in our strength but in the strength God gives to us when we put our faith in Him. First Peter 4:11 says the person who is serving God by serving others and making all his ways pleasing to Him should do so by the strength God supplies, so that in all things, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ (Matt. 5:16). We are to cast all our anxieties, our troubled thoughts, our problems and our frustrations on God, and He will take them from us (1 Peter 5:7). There is no more condemnation for us (feeling bad about ourselves or our shortcomings) when we are living the way Jesus Christ showed us to live daily (Rom. 8:1; 1 John 3:18-21). In plain language, how can we build inner strength? 1. Inner strength comes from living for God daily and no longer for self (which is living to the flesh). 2. Inner strength comes from living the life of Jesus Christ in our bodies and doing the deeds that Jesus, our example, did (Rev. 2:26). 3. Inner strength comes from perfecting our faith by doing righteous works, as Abraham did (James 2:21-23). 4. Inner strength comes from trusting in God daily for our daily needs. 5. Inner strength comes from passing our tests and trials, and enduring the sufferings God brings upon us to perfect our faith (Heb. 12:3-11; 1 Peter 2:24; 4:1, 12-13, 18-19; 5:10; Heb. 5:8-9; Phil. 4:6). How many people cast all their anxieties, troubles and woes on Jesus Christ, and experience the inner strength that comes from God by doing so (1 Peter 5:7)? Remember, God does not hear sinners, but only those who show Him respect by doing His Will daily on this earth as it is being done in heaven (John 9:31; Matt. 6:10; 7:21; 12:50; 1 John 2:17, 29; 3:7; 1 Peter 2:15; 4:2-6; Luke 8:21; Eph. 5:17; Rom. 12:2). So let’s live for God and then trust in Him for the inner strength that cannot fail. - God's Royal Insurance Policy | WHOLE WHEAT
wholewheatonline.com Search God's Royal Insurance Policy Being a servant of God has so many benefits that it truly is a royal insurance policy. God’s royal insurance policy protects you from famine, disease and war (Psalm 33:19; 91:3, 5-7; 103:3; Prov. 10:3). It will lead you out of all your troubles (Job 5:20-27; Prov. 11:8; 12:13, 21). All things in life turn out for good for those who are the policyholders (Rom. 8:28). If someone came to your door and offered such a policy, and you had faith in the company, it would be the easiest policy in the world to sell (Acts 2:40). This policy gives you wisdom just for the asking, spiritual power just for the asking, and answered prayer, when in accordance with the Will of the policy (James 1:5; 1 John 3:22; John 9:31; 15:7, 16; 16:24; Matt. 21:22). It guarantees you abundance, joy, peace and love, as Abraham had (John 10:10; 17:13; Gen. 24:1; 25:8). It guarantees you obedient children who do not go astray when they are older (Prov. 22:6) when you follow the royal advice of Proverbs 29:15 and 17. It even guarantees you power to get wealth the right way—God’s Way (Prov. 10:22; 13:21). God wants you to partake in this royal insurance policy, but you must remain faithful to the premium by living Christ’s Way of life. Jesus Christ qualified you to be a policyholder regardless of your present condition, but you must not stay in your present condition. You must die to self and deny your old way of life daily (1 Cor. 15:31; Luke 9:23). Instead, you must live Christ’s new Way of life (Heb. 10:20; Matt. 21:32). This is done by practicing righteousness, good deeds and good works to please and glorify the Father (1 John 2:29; Gal. 6:9; John 10:25, 32, 37-38; 14:12; Matt. 5:16). You must do all that you do and say in Christ’s name as a happy slave of Christ (Col. 3:17; Eph. 6:6; Rom. 6:18-19). Overcome your nature by doing good, being zealous, persevering in good works and keeping Christ’s deeds, which are all righteous—God’s righteousness (1 Peter 3:13; Rom. 12:21; 2:7; 10:3; Luke 21:19; Rev. 2:26; Prov. 19:17). You must strive until God creates in you a new nature, establishes you, and puts your nature under your heel (Luke 13:24; Prov. 22:9; 1 Peter 5:10; Heb. 10:36; Rom. 16:20). Jesus Christ’s Way is easy and pleasant (Matt. 11:30). Children would have no problem with it (Matt. 19:14; 18:4). But once you start, don’t look back; just keep going straight forward into the good life, which is the godly life that God has been waiting for many to live (Luke 17:31; 1 Tim. 4:7; Eph. 5:1; 1 Cor. 11:1; Titus 1:1). - It's So Simple: A Woman to Woman Article | WHOLE WHEAT
wholewheatonline.com Search It's So Simple: A Woman to Woman Article It’s so simple, yet people simply don’t see it. It’s as simple as what I ask of my children each day. All I ask is that they act kindly toward others—doing whatever they can to make others happy, especially grandparents or any other elderly people they see or have over to their home. Yes, this simple way is God’s Way of life. We ask our children to use good words towards each other. And when evil thoughts come into their minds, we tell them to just get rid of them by thinking of something good to do—and then doing it for God. If any child visits our home and they are undisciplined, no matter what their problem, we ask our children to be kind and show them a good time. It’s such a beautiful way to live. Our children have actually influenced other children to be respectful to their parents. They have helped other children to clean up their mouth and to stop swearing. They have shown others how to keep their rooms neat and help their mother clean the rest of the house. Matthew 5:16 says, “Let your light so shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Only those who do good are of God (3 John 11). We are the children of God. God is our Father, and we show Him respect daily by continually doing what is right in His sight (1 John 3:22). Will you be that child I described above? Will you glorify your Father in heaven every moment of every day? Life is simply wonderful when we live this simple, beautiful Way of life. We become precious to God when we serve Him continually in this wonderful Way called “the Way of righteousness” (Matt. 21:32; 2 Peter 2:21).
