Estudios de la biblia en español. Bible studies in Spanish to learn about living for God. ¡No estaríamos aquí! ¡Vamos a descubrirlo! (2 Tim. 2:26; Mat. 6:10). ¡No seas engañado religiosamente! No cobres interés a tu prójimo (Sal. 15:5; Ex. 22:25). 10. No uses malas palabras, vulgaridades o digas groserías. (Mat. 25:35). 23. Glorifica a Dios con buenas obras (Mat.5:16). 24. Has tus oraciones en secreto.

- What People Need to Know | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search What People Need to Know People need to know how to repent. They need to be told more than to turn around and go the other way. They need to be told how to go the other way. They need to be told that practicing righteousness is the Way of the Lord (Matt. 21:32; Acts 18:25-26). Some 2,000 years ago, the disobedient spoke evil of this Way and this caused no small disturbance (Acts 19:9, 23). It will be the same today. This Way is simply overcoming evil by doing good for the Father in heaven, as Jesus did (Rom. 12:21; Psalm 37:27). Jesus did all His good works in the Father’s name (John 10:25). Now, we are to do good works in the Lord Jesus Christ’s name, giving thanks through Him to God the Father (Col. 3:17). Jesus always did things that were pleasing to the Father (John 8:29). We, too, are to learn what pleases the Lord by living to the Spirit and by doing all we do in love (Eph. 5:10; Gal. 5:25; 1 Cor. 16:14). We are to do good works, like Dorcas, who was continually doing deeds of kindness and charity (Rom. 2:6-8; Acts 9:36-41). She died in the Lord and was brought back to life to show us that those who do good works will be partakers in the resurrection of the righteous (John 5:29). Doing good works is how you repent and return to God so that your sins are wiped away (Acts 3:19). Job knew his sins were not being held against him because he lived to be a servant of others for God (Job 14:16-17; 29:12-18; Matt. 25:33-40). He knew God considered him blameless and upright because he was turning away from evil by doing good for God (Job 1:1, 8; 2:3; Rom. 12:21). Have you started to do good for God daily in your life? If so, can you say with Paul, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also all who have longed for His appearing" (2 Tim. 4:7-8)? Have you overcome the pulls of the flesh as our perfect example, Jesus Christ, did (John 16:33)? Do you have Jesus Christ formed in you (Gal. 4:19)? Have you been tested and perfected by God (2 Cor. 13:9, 11; 1 Peter 5:10)? Are you a new creation yet (Gal. 6:15)? Have you overcome by keeping Jesus Christ’s works in your life daily (Rev. 2:26)? Now you know how to live this Way, which Jesus Christ said is easy and pleasant (Matt. 11:30). It does not take intelligence, just daily obedience to your loving Father in heaven (Acts 6:7; 1 Cor. 1:26-28; 2:9). All you need to do is please Him with all your words and deeds (Heb. 13:16; Col. 3:17). Learn to be selfless, like Jesus Christ, by being a servant to others (Matt. 23:11). Put others first (1 Cor. 10:24). Practice love and charity to everyone you meet (Luke 11:41). Be a friend to everyone (Matt. 5:46-47). In short, live only to do good for God, as Jesus Christ said you should (Matt. 5:48). - Spiritually in Tune With God | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search Spiritually in Tune With God Have you ever telephoned someone you had on your mind and discovered that person was also thinking of you just before the phone rang? How much more spiritually in tune is God to our every thought (Psalm 94:8-11; 125:4; 1 Cor. 3:20)? There is a way to become spiritually in tune with God, just as there is a way to become spiritually out of tune with God. When we live in sin, we are spiritually out of tune with God. We are in tune with Satan’s wavelengths and we are doing Satan’s will (2 Tim. 2:26). When we repent and come out of a life of sin by living a life of righteousness, we become in tune with the Father, who is righteous (Psalm 11:7; 145:17). All unrighteousness is lawlessness or sin (Rom. 3:23; 1 John 3:4; 5:17). This is why the one who repents is to imitate what is good by doing good (3 John 11). We are to imitate God daily instead of Satan (Eph. 5:1). We are to do good daily instead of evil. Instead of being slaves to unrighteousness, God wants us to repent and become slaves to righteousness (Rom. 6:13, 17-19). God’s Will is righteousness (Psalm 106:3). Satan’s will is lawlessness or unrighteousness. God is righteous and He wants us to imitate Him by practicing righteousness daily (Eph. 5:1). He wants us to glorify His name with good works (Matt. 5:16). Jesus laid out those works in the parable of the sheep and goats found in Matthew 25:33-46. Satan is an enemy of all righteousness and good works when they are done in secret for the glory of God (Matt. 6:1; Eph. 6:6). Why? Because that is how he is crushed in our natures and put under our feet by God (Rom. 16:20). Good works and righteous deeds are God’s Will. When we do good works daily on earth as they are done in heaven, we are in tune with God (Matt. 6:10). Now, all we need to do is stay in tune with God (Matt. 24:13). We will have Jesus’ nature formed in us (Gal. 4:19). We will overcome the evil in our lives by continually doing good toward others for God (Rom. 12:21; 1 Peter 3:10-11, 13). We will have our prayers answered because we are doing God’s Will and pleasing Him in all we do (1 John 3:22; John 8:29; 9:31). Not only that, because we are seeking first God’s kingdom by practicing righteousness for God, the Lord will give us all the things we need (Matt. 6:33; John 8:51). So, what are you waiting for? The Lord is waiting for you to become spiritually in tune with Him. PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME All About the Bible PDF © 2025 Whole Wheat International

- Are We Born Evil? | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search Are We Born Evil? Our Creator says we were created flesh with a nature of flesh, and if we continue living to the flesh we must die (John 3:6; Rom. 8:12-13). What is the flesh nature in man that we were given? The deeds of the flesh are evident (Gal. 5:19-21). They are evil. Put a “d” on evil and you have devil. That’s what man’s nature is (John 6:70). Man’s heart is more deceitful than all else and desperately sick, it is beyond understanding (Jer. 17:9). Man’s nature is capable of doing anything wicked—absolutely anything—while God’s nature is only good. Just study these Scriptures, and be prepared for a shock: Deuteronomy 28:53; Isaiah 9:19-20; Ezekiel 5:10; 2 Kings 18:27; Isaiah 36:12; Zechariah 11:9; Matthew 15:19, Mark 7:21, and 2 Timothy 3:2-5. In our fleshly state, we are considered as beasts or dogs (Eccl. 3:18; Matt. 7:6; 15:26; Rev. 22:15; Psalm 22:16, 20). Man is evil from his youth (Gen. 8:21). Even Jesus was born of the flesh with a fleshly nature, not knowing enough to refuse His evil impulses and choose good over evil when He was a child. He had the same evil nature we have, for if He hadn’t, He could not have been our example of how to overcome (Is. 7:14-16; Heb. 5:8; 1 John 4:1, 2; 2 John 7; John 16:33; Rev. 3:21). Remember, everyone who comes in the flesh is born with a fleshly nature. Jesus, who created us, says we are wicked from the womb and we go astray from birth (Col. 1:16; Psalm 58:3). We have all seen a child throw a temper tantrum, so we know this is true! No, you don’t have to teach a child to be evil, do you? Instead, you must teach a child to be good, because human nature is not good. In Proverbs 22:6, it says we are to train up a child in the way he should go, they must be trained in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:15-17). This is why Jesus said He was not good (Mark 10:18; Luke 18:19; Rom. 7:18). Yes, Jesus knew what was in man (John 2:25; 6:70; Matt. 16:23). We were all born with evil natures that must be overcome (Rev. 2:11, 26; 3:5). Our evil natures can be overcome, if we practice righteousness for God zealously until God gives us the desire to do good from the heart (Eph. 6:6; Matt. 5:20; 6:1). When we are zealous in doing good, God will crush Satan in us (Rom. 16:20). That is why true disciples of Jesus Christ are told not to get weary in doing good (2 Thess. 3:13; Gal. 6:9-10; Rom. 2:7). Then, with God’s help, we can truly be set free from that evil nature (1 Peter 5:10). Thank you, Jesus! Consider these Scriptures: John 6:44, 65; Ephesians 2:1-3; and Titus 1:16. Remember, the people who killed Jesus Christ and the apostles were very religious (Phil. 3:2; John 16:2). Many religions throughout history have grown great because they killed off their competitors. In the sixteenth century, for example, over 50 million people died. Those who killed them thought they were worshiping God, (Mark 7:7) however, they still had the rotten natures they’d always had, because they had not been told how to overcome. Yes, we are born evil! Yes, we must overcome that evil heart and become pure and righteous, living to please the Lord each day by living His Way (Matt. 5:6, 8; Acts 10:35; Rev. 22:12-14). We must do the practicing and God does the perfecting (1 Cor. 3:7; Col. 2:19; 1 Thess. 4:9-10). God’s word says if we do not practice righteousness for God daily, we will remain children of the devil (1 John 3:7, 10).❑ PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME All About the Bible PDF © 2025 Whole Wheat International

- Are We Truly Civilized? | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search Are We Truly Civilized? The world is full of great learning institutions. Colleges and institutions of higher learning are big business. Tuition is constantly on the rise and, in many cases, the cost is astronomical. Yet, even with all this so-called "higher learning," we can’t get along, like decent human beings. The divorce rate is higher than ever before. Crime is at an all-time high. Prisons are overflowing, with a pressing need for more to be built. As a result, hardened criminals are being released from the prisons back on to our streets. Insanity is on the rise. Moral standards have never been lower. Behavior that was considered immoral 40, or even 20 years ago, is now socially acceptable. Our politicians and leaders lie to us, without a second thought. How can we have all these serious problems if our institutions of higher learning are so great? They have failed us and for good reason. Godlessness is taught in our colleges. Eastern religious customs, like yoga, meditation and mindfulness, are taught in our nursery schools, preschools, grade schools, high schools and colleges, among other things that do not agree with the word of God. What does God in heaven say about higher learning or the so-called “wisdom” of this world? The wisdom and the knowledge of this world is foolishness before God (1 Cor. 3:19). God’s word says that the knowledge of this world is demonic (James 3:15). No wonder Jesus had no formal education (John 7:15)! All He needed was God’s word. Jeremiah understood that man was never created by God to direct his own steps or think his own thoughts, which are not good (Jer. 10:23; 16:12; Is. 45:19; 48:17; 65:2; Prov. 3:5-6; 14:12; 16:25; 20:24; Psalm 25:12-13; Deut. 12:8). We are missing the most important information we need for living a successful life, the greatest knowledge of all – from the greatest teacher of all time, Jesus Christ. God created us all to keep His Ways and do His Will on this earth daily, as it is being done daily by God in heaven (Gen. 18:19; Deut. 10:12; Matt. 6:10). This is how we are to serve only Him (Matt. 4:10). This is what Christ came to show us. If we keep His Ways, then we will abound in prosperity (Prov. 28:9-11). True knowledge makes a people of honor, with wisdom, integrity and dignity. True knowledge comes only from God and makes a people who are civilized. People could not be further away from their Maker than they are today. How many people do you know today who are living for God as Abraham, Joseph, King David, the Apostle Paul or Dorcas (Acts 9:36)? The Lord is coming very soon to forcefully civilize this world so full of sin. He will do this by eliminating the wicked from the earth, who are those who won’t obey His word (1 Peter 4:18). If we are going to be judged by God’s word, as the Bible says we will be, don’t you think we should begin now to obey His word daily, so we will be spared when He comes with His wrath (John 12:47-50; Rev. 3:10; Luke 21:34-36)? Let’s begin to study our Bibles daily, to find out what God’s Ways (Will) are, so that we no longer remain foolish (Eph. 5:17; Rom. 12:1-2; 6:13-19; 8:13; Gal. 5:16; Is. 2:3; Micah 4:2). Let’s stop following the crowd and accepting what man says as truth, when it doesn’t agree with what God says. God tells us to separate ourselves from the world. If we are a friend of the world we are an enemy of God (James 4:4). Find out what God expects of you and what He requires of you, so that you will no longer be one of the “crowd” but someone following after God’s own heart. Isn’t it time to be truly civilized, by keeping God’s Ways and turning from our wicked ways? Then God can bless us, as well as protect us, from what will shortly come to pass (Acts 3:26; Is. 3:10). - How to Make a Convert for Christ | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search How to Make a Convert for Christ In order to make a convert for Christ, one must follow the directions of Jesus Christ and His word. Would you agree? Does Jesus tell us to go door to door and ask people if they know where they are going when they die, and then proceed to tell them that they are going to hell if they don’t repent? Jesus’ instructions to us, from His word, are quite the opposite to what most people might think. Jesus says that before we can convert someone to Christ, we must first be converted to Christ ourselves. We must be fully trained as disciples or pupils of Christ; then we will be like our teacher (Luke 6:40). In order to be taught by our teacher, we must walk as He walks or live like He lives (1 John 2:6). We must first clean up our own lives to be impeccable examples of Christ for others and thus, show them the Way. If we try to bring others to Christ without first becoming converted, Christ calls us hypocrites (Luke 6:41-42). Jesus shouts from His word to those who call themselves Christians today, “Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ (using my name all the time) and do not do what I say?” Jesus wants us to act on His word, not just talk about it (Luke 6:46-47). We are to show our love to others by our deeds, not words (1 John 3:18-19). We are to convert our loved ones without a word. Without a word! How? By your behavior (1 Peter 3:1). How is this done? Study to show yourself approved to God. Unless you study, God will consider you unapproved (2 Tim. 2:15—KJV). Then, in all things, show yourself to be an example of good works (Titus 2:7). Put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another (Col. 3:12-13). God wants you to learn to love the unlovable, like He loved you before you began living for Him daily. Love your spouse. Serve your spouse. Spend time with your spouse and enjoy life with your loved one, all the days of your fleeting life which God has given you under the sun (Eccl. 9:9, Eph. 5:22-33). Do not allow yourself to hold hard feelings against them and if you are angry with them, do not allow the sun to go down before you resolve your anger (Col. 3:18-19; Eph. 4:26-27). Do not argue at all, because this is breaking God’s command about repaying evil for evil or insult with insult. Be considerate and treat your spouse as a human and not as a child. Remember, you cannot change them. That’s God’s business and you are not minding your own business if you try. Pray to God and ask God to work with your spouse. Do not try to “lord it over them” or oppress them in any way. They have one Lord over them, and you might be getting in His Way. Remember, you cannot change them and for that matter, you can’t change yourself. Only God can change a person and He never made a nature He couldn’t change or crush (Rom. 16:20). Crushing our evil nature requires your cooperation though. You must live a repentant life by serving others daily for God (1 Cor. 3:7). This is what allows God to create a new nature in you so that you become a new creature or creation and have Christ’s nature formed in you (Gal. 4:19; 6:15). That is when you are made complete (2 Cor. 13:9, 11). Finally then, pray to God that perhaps God may grant those you care about repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth so they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil (2 Tim. 2:25-26). These are God’s directions and they work! Try following them! PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME All About the Bible PDF © 2025 Whole Wheat International

- Christ's Simple Message | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search Christ's Simple Message Christ's simple message was, "Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand," (Matt. 4:17). God wants to build a new heart in you, but you must be willing to repent or change (Ezek. 18:31; 36:26; Zech. 7:9, 12). You must be willing to turn around and go another way (Matt. 13:15). You must live God's Way - the Way of peace. God's Way is not the way of evil, but the way of good. Wouldn't it be something if God said He was good but He never did any good? He wouldn't really be good then; nor would He be God, would He (Psalm 145:17)? Wouldn't it be something if someone claimed to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and didn't continually live a life of doing good as Jesus did? He really wouldn't be a disciple then, would He? God is good because He does good continually, just as a true disciple of Christ does (Acts 9:36). Yes, a true disciple of Jesus Christ is one who does deeds of kindness and charity continually, day by day. He is a "do-gooder" for God, rather than a "good-for-nothing" for Satan (3 John 11; 1 John 3:10). God wants you to imitate Him so He can form Jesus Christ's nature in you and, at the same time, crush Satan's nature in you and bring it under control (Eph. 5:1; 1 Cor. 11:1; Gal. 4:19; Rom. 16:20). It's an easy and pleasant process, but it does require obedience on your part (Matt. 11:30; Acts 5:32). After all, a faith with no obedience is no faith at all (James 2:20, 22, 24, 26). The world is full of people who have no light in them because they are into so much sin. They are full of darkness. God is making people who never had light into 1,000 watt light bulbs. God wants them to practice righteousness daily for Him. He wants people to glorify Him by doing good works so their lights will begin to shine for others to see (Matt. 5:16). Granted, when you start a life of overcoming evil by continually doing good works, your light may only be 25 watts, but eventually it will increase and increase as your old nature fades. God's new nature will then begin to be formed in you, with your cooperation, of course! Be careful not to do your good works for reasons of being noticed by men. Instead, do your good works so people notice God in you (Matt. 6:1; Eph. 6:6). Do all that you do in the name of Jesus Christ, as we have been commanded (Col. 3:17). God bless you as you begin to live a life that is a blessing to others-your new life in Christ! - Forgive & Forget: A Woman to Woman Article | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search Forgive & Forget: A Woman to Woman Article I was talking to a friend the other day. We were discussing how we feel when we are wronged or offended. My friend said, “I forgive but I never forget. I know that’s not right but I cannot help it. That’s the way I am.” Let’s look at God’s word and see if He forgives and forgets. Starting with “The Lord’s Prayer” in Matthew 6:12 and 14, we find that if we forgive others for their transgressions, then our heavenly Father will also forgive ours. Matthew 6:15 tells us very plainly that if we do not forgive others, our heavenly Father will not forgive our transgressions. Read it for yourself! “But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins” (Matt. 6:15). Mark 11:26 says again, “But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.” A valuable lesson is found in 2 Corinthians 2:10-11. “If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” Who wants us to dwell on the wrongs and offenses done to us and not forgive each other? Satan! He promotes dissension and evil schemes among people. He wants confusion and disharmony among God’s people. We are reminded in Ephesians 4:32 to be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven us. Colossians 2:13-14 clearly tells us that we are dead when we are in our sins or transgressions, but when the Lord forgives us all our transgressions, the certificate of debt against us is canceled and taken away. Jesus Christ’s death assures us this when we live to please Him daily by practicing righteousness. 1 John 1:9 tells us again that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I strive to imitate God’s example of forgiveness daily. “For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon Thee” (Psalm 86:5). Now we see how forgiving our heavenly Father is. But does He forget? Let’s look at Hebrews 10:17. “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Does God forgive and forget? Yes, indeed! So let’s imitate Him daily by forgiving and forgetting the wrongs and offenses that have been done to us, just as Jesus Christ Himself would do. “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children”—Ephesians 5:1. - What is Freedom? | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search What is Freedom? To Satan, freedom is doing what you want. How many wars have been fought for freedom? How many people in the past have died for freedom? With all the wars that have been fought for freedom, does the world enjoy peace? What does God’s word say about freedom and wars? James 4:1-4 talks about this; ‘What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures [your self-interest] that wages war inside your body? You lust [covet] and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain [have your own way] so you fight and quarrel. Even when you pray to God for things, you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your own pleasures [because you want what you want for self]. You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? [When you continue to live selfish, inward lives, you are continuing to live like the world lives]. Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend to the world makes himself an enemy of God.’ [This, then, is the same as committing adultery against God.] Nations fight and kill each other for the same reasons—sin and human nature. Jesus was sent to this world to show man how to escape from this human nature, which has kept him enslaved by the devil. Man is being held captive by Satan to do his will (2 Tim. 2:26). Jesus said to seek the truth and you will be set free from your present nature which is evil, compared to God’s nature which is righteous and pure. Seek the truth [God’s word] and it will set you free from all religious error which grips the world. Seek the truth and it will set you free from Satan who has deceived the whole world (John 8:32; Rev. 12:9). By daily study of God’s word by subject, you not only can prove that God exists but also that He rewards those who diligently seek Him (Heb. 11:6). You will find God’s word to be a true history of man and that the world is full of pagan, godless lies, which are being taught to your children in schools and colleges. For example, your children are being taught that writing, and the writing of books, did not occur until a recent date and as a result, books were not available to people long ago. However, in Halley’s Bible Handbook, page 51, an article is written called: “Libraries in Abraham’s Day and Schools in Abraham’s Day.” We all know that Enoch wrote several books in his day, and he lived seven generations after Adam and Eve. That book of Enoch is still available today! Man’s thoughts are being controlled today; and he is being fed rubbish. 1 Corinthians 3:19 says that the knowledge of this world is foolishness to God. It is of the earth and is demonic (James 3:15). True knowledge comes from God above. When you obey God, He not only gives you true knowledge but also wisdom for the asking. Freedom comes from keeping laws—God’s laws. When you keep God’s laws, He protects you from harm, feeds you in times of famine, protects you from disease, blesses everything you put your hand to do, gives you a long life filled with joy, peace, prosperity and eternal life (Psalm 91:1-16; Deut. 30:15; Psalm 25:13; 37:11)! You keep God’s laws in the Spirit by continually doing good. Freedom comes from knowing the truth. Freedom comes from practicing the truth. Freedom comes from getting rid of your old evil nature and having Christ’s new nature (which He has waiting for you) formed in you (Gal. 4:19; 2 Peter 1:4). He who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. You love others and fulfill that law when you only live to do good to others and serve and help them whenever you have the opportunity. Being a servant of others is imitating Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 11:1; Rom. 15:2-3). Halley’s Bible Handbook also describes how Jesus Christ lived and gave us example to live. On page 20, it says: “As a man, He lived the most strangely beautiful life ever known. He was the kindest, tenderest, gentlest, most patient, most sympathetic man that ever lived. He loved people. He hated to see people in trouble. He loved to forgive. He loved to help. He wrought marvelous miracles to feed hungry people. For relieving the suffering He forgot to take food for Himself. Multitudes, weary, pain-ridden, and heart sick, came to Him, and found healing and relief. It is said of Him, and no other (John 21:25), that if all the deeds of kindness He did were written, the world could not contain the books. That is the kind of man Jesus was. That is the kind of Person God is. And, Jesus said that those who would be followers of His would do more deeds of kindness than He did (John 14:12)! It is this precious Way of life that Jesus came to show mankind, which is called the Way of righteousness. This is true freedom. It is also the directions to eternal life (John 12:47-50; Matt. 21:32). Jesus delivered to us the words of the Father, as He was prophesied to do in Deuteronomy 18:15 and 17-19. Anyone who will not obey Jesus’ words will be utterly destroyed from among the people in the future (Acts 3:23). I think Jesus was serious when He said that unless we repent and keep His words, we will perish (Luke 13:3, 5; John 8:51). - The Quality of Your Spiritual Life | Daily Grains
The Quality of Your Spiritual Life First of all, God created mankind on this earth to seek Him, find Him and obey Him. He did this so mankind could live a peaceful long life—full of abundance and every good thing. All the Lord God wants man to do is to do what is right (do well) to please Him, so man would feel good about himself. God has given us examples in His word of those who obeyed Him and were blessed and those who disobeyed Him and were cursed. God used certain men called prophets to write what He told them to write, as well as speak what He commanded them to speak. It was the same message over and over again to mankind—practice righteousness and practice justice toward your fellow man, and thus do your neighbor no harm but only good. Is this too much for God to ask of us, considering eternal life is also connected to this beautiful Way of righteousness? Jesus was zealous for good deeds towards others. If you do not learn to imitate Him by keeping His words and by being zealous for good deeds towards others too, then you deny Him in your daily life. We were created for good works, just as we were created to fulfill Scripture, but we must be careful to fulfill the Scriptures of the righteous by keeping Jesus’ words and putting them into action in our daily walk with Him. This is most definitely the good life and God’s true message to mankind! If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it. Genesis 4:7 For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him; but the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe him. Matthew 21:32 They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed. Titus 1:16 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. A servant of God is one who serves others in need, for God, and in so doing, imitates God daily (Matt. 19:21; Col. 3:17; 1 John 3:17-18; Luke 6:36; Eph. 5:1). God is glorified by good works done for His glory. This is how you let your light shine (Matt. 5:16). People notice you because you are so peculiar and unusual (Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 1:12)! A servant of God does not serve the flesh (Rom. 6:4-13). God’s servant lives to the Spirit daily and thus puts the evil desires of the flesh to death (Gal. 5:16, 19-21; 1 Peter 3:18; Rom. 8:12-14). God is the Spirit, and constantly living to please God by serving others is how you worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24). A true servant of God visits people in hospitals and gives clothing to those he knows need it. He is always ready to help those who are needy. He helps those who need food by providing what they need (Eph. 4:28). If anyone needs lodging, God’s servant takes care of the need (Matt. 25:33-40). God’s servant has a humble attitude when serving these people, as Abraham and Lot did (Gen. 17:3; 18:2). A servant of God lifts people’s spirits with his words of love, hope and joy (Heb. 10:24; 1 Thess. 5:11; Eph. 4:29). A servant of God spreads good will with his words. A servant of God does all his good works in the name of Jesus Christ, as he has been commanded to do by Jesus Christ (Col. 3:17). A servant of God keeps God’s word by practicing righteousness (1 John 3:7; 2:29). This is how he practices his faith, and it works because it is a faith of works (James 2:14-26). The person who does not practice righteousness daily is not a servant of God (Rom. 10:5-6, 10; 1 John 3:10). Are you a servant of God as defined by God’s word? Will you become one? - How Do We Enter the Kingdom Within? | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search How Do We Enter the Kingdom Within? The Pharisees (religious leaders) and scribes (lawyers) of Jesus’ day knew God was going to send His kingdom to this earth, but they denied it was a spiritual kingdom (Luke 17:21). Jesus told the Pharisees that because they were practicing righteousness for hypocritical reasons, they were not entering the kingdom of God. They were not overcoming Satan, but giving in to him. They were not receiving a new godly nature themselves, and because they were not, they were hindering those who were trying to enter it (Matt. 23:13). They had taken away the key to the knowledge of how to enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus told them several times what they were lacking in their message—justice, mercy and faithfulness (Matt. 23:23; 12:7; 9:13; Luke 11:52). But they refused to listen and understand this mystery (Matt. 13:11). So, Jesus gave the keys of knowledge on how to enter the kingdom of God to Peter and the other disciples (Matt. 16:19). He told them they must practice justice, mercy and faithfulness (Rom. 2:7 Psalm 106:3). He said they must study God’s word, understand what the Will of God is, and do it, in order to become disciples of the kingdom (Matt 13:52; Eph. 5:17; 2 Tim 2:15). Jesus said, the kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed (Luke 17:20-21). Instead, it is inside you. It is a pleasant way of life (Matt. 11:30). It is entered by practicing righteousness (Rom. 14:17). But you must force your way into it (Luke 16:16; 13:24). You can become a sheep or you can remain a goat (Matt. 25:33-46). The choice is yours. - How to Walk in God's Ways | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search How to Walk in God's Ways Jesus walked in the Ways of the Father. He was our perfect example (John 5:19-20). He came to show us this beautiful Way of life-a way of love, joy, peace, abundance, answered prayers and every good thing (John 10:10; 14:14). He said it was easy and pleasant (1 John 5:3; Matt. 11:30). We don't need to be intelligent to live it, just obedient like a child (Rom. 16:26; Mark 10:15). It does not require previous education because God will be our teacher (John 6:45; 1 Cor. 3:19; Is. 48:17-18). God lives a certain Way and He never deviates from that Way (Psalm 145:17). That Way is called His Will (1 John 2:17; Matt. 7:21). It is also called His walk (2 John 6). Once we understand how God walks or lives and what His Will is, then we too can walk with God or live as He lives by keeping His Ways instead of our old ways of the flesh (Rom. 12:2). After all, our old ways are sinful ways and must be put to death in our bodies (Rom. 8:13; Matt. 16:25). When we study the Scriptures, we can see that the Will of the Father is to do acts of righteousness, or good deeds (Gal. 6:9; 2 Thess. 3:13; Heb. 13:16). The Will of the Father is to do good works by keeping the sayings Jesus Christ received from the Father (John 12:47-48). We are to overcome our evil natures by being zealous in doing good deeds for God in Jesus' name and thus, bring all our thoughts and actions into the captivity of Christ (Rom. 12:21; 1 Peter 3:13; Col. 3:17; 2 Cor. 10:5). This allows Christ to put our old natures to death and crush Satan's nature within us (Rom. 16:20). Now is the time to get involved with the godly process (1 Tim. 6:3-4). Don't let Satan snatch your opportunity away (Eph. 4:2-7). Tell God you want to serve Him today by serving your fellow man in every way (Rom. 15:3; 2:7; 1 Cor. 10:24; 11:1; Eph. 5:1; Matt. 25:34-40). Remember always, those who did the good deeds will be resurrected to eternal life (John 5:29). That is what Jesus Christ said and He would not tell you a religious lie. - Perfect: A Woman to Woman Article | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search Perfect: A Woman to Woman Article Most every girl dreams of the “perfect life.” She dreams of that special, awesome day when she’ll walk down the aisle to wed the man of her dreams and when she’ll have her own little house to take care of. As she dreams of her perfect house with her perfect man, she tends to forget that she must become the perfect woman. Isn’t this true? Being the perfect woman is very easy. The perfect woman of God puts God first by studying her Bible, praying and looking for opportunities to serve God, and continually doing good for God each day - doing all she does, even the most mundane tasks, for the glory of God. She is prepared to serve others at anytime and prays for others continually. Perfect means spiritually mature, stable, steadfast and immovable—continually serving God. Her life is centered around helping others to please God. She is a shining light in a dark world (Matt. 5:16). When she gives a lunch or party, she includes those who cannot pay her back—the blind, lowly, handicapped, orphans or widows (Luke 14:13-14). Proverbs 31:10-31 describes the perfect godly woman and Jesus Christ says to be perfect, as our heavenly Father is perfect (Matt. 5:48). When a woman strives to be perfect, she is a jewel to God and to her husband; in fact, she is worth far more than jewels, according to Proverbs 31:10. The godly woman represents strength and dignity, and she never points her finger or speaks wickedness about anyone (Prov. 31:25; Is. 58:9). When she opens her mouth she is kind, and uses wisdom, in her speech. She is caring, loving, compassionate and understanding, teaching God’s Ways of charity to others. She takes good care of her home and sees that it is clean. She is not lazy (Prov. 31:27). Her children love her and have only good to say about her (Prov. 31:28). She is like Dorcas—continually abounding with deeds of kindness and charity (Acts 9:36). “Charm is deceitful; beauty is vain; but a woman who fears (obeys) the Lord, she shall be praised” (Prov. 31:30). Study Proverbs 31:10-31. It is one of the greatest sets of Scriptures in the Bible because it offers guidelines on how to be a godly woman. We want to be aware of what God expects of a godly woman, so we can please Him in all our ways and be a perfect woman of God. - What is the Best Bible Translation? | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search What is the Best Bible Translation? The best translation of the Bible is the one that has the clearest meaning to the key verses that explain how to live the Way that Jesus Christ lived. One example is Titus 2:14. In the original Greek it says, "…cleanse for Himself a people zealous for good works." In the King James Version it says, "purify unto Himself a peculiar people zealous of good works." The New American Standard Version says, "…zealous for good deeds," and so does the Revised Standard Version. The Living Bible, the New International Version, and other modern language versions change, water down and distort this verse, along with Titus 3:8-14. If you do not maintain good works or good deeds, you have stopped bearing good fruit for God (Matt. 3:10). If you are not zealous for good deeds, you are leaving a door open through which you can be tempted by Satan (1 Peter 3:13; 5:8). Do you think Jesus Christ overcame the world by doing nothing? Of course not. He overcame the world by doing the Father’s Will - which is righteousness - every day. Jesus only lived to do good towards others, as He instructed us to do daily. Jesus never lived to do His own will but only the Father’s Will, continually (John 6:38). To bear fruit for God is to practice righteousness (Col. 1:10). To bear fruit is to be a doer of the word (James 1:22). To bear fruit is to experience a change of nature, a change of heart and a change of attitude, as happy slaves of Jesus Christ, until we finally do the Will of God from the heart (Matt. 5:16, 20; 6:1; Eph. 6:6). The Will of God is righteousness and that is what we are to practice. We do the practicing so God can do the perfecting. The Bible with the clearest meaning and the most reliable to the original Greek is the 1977 New American Standard Version, but always have a King James Version close by to double-check some passages, as it is the oldest version but not always the easiest to understand. Try comparing 2 Timothy 2:15, Hebrews 12:14, 1 John 5:7 and Acts 12:4 in the New American Standard 1977 and the King James Version. The 1995 New American Standard Version has very slight differences and has updated some words for more "modern reading" so we may reference it in some of our features for that reason, however, we rely on the 1977 NASB as a general rule for study purposes as being the most reliable and accurate. On occasion we may reference other translations only for the purpose of clarity and expanding the understanding of the Scripture. If you do not have the other translations available to you, you can find them easily online for a quick reference. We also may refer to Noah's 1828 Dictionary, which we consider a valuable resource that also references Scripture itself. All that being said, of course, if you have a Bible that you love and are wearing out for God, by studying it daily, just continue and the Lord will continue to teach you through His word, as you seek Him for understanding in all things (John 14:26) PREV NEXT 3 SIMPLE STEPS TO GET STARTED MORE BIBLE STUDIES PODCASTS HOME All About the Bible PDF © 2025 Whole Wheat International
- How You Deny Christ | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search How You Deny Christ Jesus Christ came to show us the Way to live daily to please the Father. He said His way is easy and pleasant, and not hard (Matt. 11:30; 1 John 5:3). To live this Way, we are to walk as He walked, which means we are to live as He lived. Then we abide in His love (1 John 2:6; John 15:7-9). We are to practice righteousness daily to please the Father in everything we do (1 John 2:29; 3:7, 10, 17-18). We are commanded to do all the good we do in the name of Jesus Christ for the glory of the Father (Col. 3:17). Paul understood what Christ wanted. That is why He told ministers to tell those who have believed in God to be careful to engage in good works (Titus 3:8). Jesus was zealous for good works to please God and this is what He wants us to do. There are those who profess what Jesus Christ preached but see no need for works of any kind in regard to the overcoming process. These are a people who profess to know God but are still living disobedient and detestable lives. They do not know the truth about how to overcome evil by doing good works daily for the glory of the Father in heaven (Psalm 37:27; Rom. 12:21). How do you deny Christ? By not getting involved in a life of good works for God’s glory (Titus 1:16; Matt. 5:16). You cannot expect to have Christ formed in you and living in your heart unless you imitate Christ continually by serving others with love (1 Cor. 11:1). Then, and only then, will the Father reveal His Son in you (Gal. 4:19). God bless those who begin to live this Way without delay. - How to Receive the Abundant Life | Bible Studies
wholewheatonline.com Search How to Receive the Abundant Life Jesus Christ came with good news. It was good news about the abundant life, and how to qualify for the kingdom of heaven (John 10:10; Luke 8:1; 2 Thess. 1:5). He came to show and to tell us how to live this Way of life. He said a child would have no trouble understanding or living this Way (Matt. 18:3). To further demonstrate the simplicity of this Way of life, He said sinners of the worst sort and people who were considered fools, weak-minded or lowly would have no trouble living this simple, pure, godly way of life (Matt. 21:31; 11:25; 1 Cor. 1:26-29). One simply needs the attitude and willingness of an obedient child to a loving Father to start living this Way of life (1 John 3:7, 10; Luke 18:17). What is this Way? It’s called the Way of righteousness (Matt. 21:32; Acts 18:25-26; 19:9, 23; 22:4; 24:14, 22). It is the Way to live righteously and blamelessly before God (Phil. 1:10; 1 Cor. 1:8; Psalm 18:30). A person lives this Way by learning to practice righteousness and by doing good deeds for others and those in need (1 John 3:7, 18-19). Doing our good deeds in Jesus Christ’s name, for the reason of glorifying God in heaven, is showing Him we really love Him (Col. 3:17; Matt. 5:16; 1 John 5:3). When we imitate the Way He lives in heaven, His Will is done instead of ours (Eph. 5:1). If we live just to please Him, He lives just to please us (Heb. 13:21). Living to please the Lord daily by doing good toward others is living by the Spirit, who is God (Gal. 5:16-17, 25). Satan has control of our old nature, or our flesh, but when we begin living to please God by living to the Spirit, Satan loses control. When we practice righteousness for God, we stop carrying out the evil thoughts and desires of the flesh. By committing our ways—our thoughts, words and deeds—to the Lord, we are putting to death the deeds of the flesh and overcoming our old nature (Gal. 6:15; Rom. 8:13). Then, if we endure and don’t grow weary in doing good deeds, we will allow Jesus Christ to put our old nature under our feet, weakened and crushed (Heb. 10:36; 1 Peter 5:10; Gal. 6:9; 2 Thess. 3:13; Rom. 16:20; 2 Tim. 2:26). When we cease from all works of the flesh, we will enter the Lord’s rest (Heb. 4:10). We will then enter the abundant life, which the Lord has waiting for all who put Him first in their lives by turning from their wicked ways (1 Thess. 3:8; Rev. 22:11; Acts 3:26).
